This is a stunningly beautiful sculptural side table made from a seasoned section of Birch wood from a tree in Hampshire.

It is spalted - that is highly patterned and coloured by a fungal infection when the tree was alive (no fungus now!) resulting in attractive and unique lines, patterns and colours in addition to the expected tree rings and grain.

Height from floor to top is 18ins (46cm) and the top is 4.5ins thick restimng on three 14ins legs. By default the legs are triple, coated steel. but the table can also be supplied with the same size legs in bright zinc or groovy orange (see photos of ecah coloured leg - all same cost).

The dimensions of the top are 54 x 47cm at widest points. The size is ideal for a side table or for a feature/ coffee table in a smaller area. Thre table is unique is size and colour.

Weight is 10kg, the top is very smooth and finished in several coats of matt acrylic matt finish, so although waterproof, it is recommended to use a coaster when placing drinks on it to avoid the possibility of marking.
