Yew is an amazing wood - very slow growing and complex in its growth. This is from a tree estimated to be 100-200 years old. If you look at my tables for sale you will see a Yew table made from a sister section from the same tree (table now sold)

Available signed and numbered out of a limited artists edition of 40 in Black. Each version is slightly different as the amount of ink, pressure and paper orientation varies a little with each copy as they are individually hand printed.

The image shows around 12 cores where new branches are forming but have n't yet appaered outside the trunk.

Handprinted using sustainable inks and archival Japanese paper trimmed to 91.5x60cm. Supplied as either a bare print rolled up in a protective tube or in a black frame as shown (using plexiglass in place of picture glass for safety, white frame is also available). This Yew woodblock can also be printed in many other colours - you may want to ask me about custom matching to a colour of your choice.

My work is handmade to order, so it may take around 7-14 days to reach you after ordering.
