SPALTED BEECH contemporary side table - beautiful one off
This is a beautiful side table made of Beech wood from a tree in London.
It is spalted around the edge - that is highly patterned and coloured by a fungal infection when the tree was alive (no fungus now!) resulting in attractive and unique lines, patterns and colours in addition to the expected tree rings and grain.
Dimensions of the top are 44cm in diameter; 7cm deep and the table is 42cm high overall. The photos show it on 3 zinc hairpin legs. You also have a choice of these alternate leg finishes:
Copper (shiny) 14 inch
Zinc (bright) 14inch
Steel (dark grey) 14 inch
Orange 14 inch
Turned Beech wood (detachable with a screw thread) 12 inch
Protective rubber pads are supplied with any metal legs as an optoin to protect your floor. The table will be supplied as in the photo unless you contact us first to request a different leg finish.
