A stunning piece of black Apple Wood featuring a number of stained or textured glass circles in a blue and green palette which beautifully catch the sunlight to enhance your garden. The wood has been burned to give an attractive black Shou Sugi Ban effect. This one-off piece of outdoor sculpture is weatherproof and features stainless steel legs to sink it into the ground.

Width is 26cm (at max), height of wooden board is 105cm, and when installed in the ground, total height around 110cm incl legs.

We can create a similar piece for you in your choice of size, wood, glass colour palette and the addition of any other recycled items as you wish (even your own - e.g. some of your Grandmother’s glass bowls!).

The sculpture has been treated with 2 coats of a special weather resistant finish which includes significant UV filters to prevent / slow down greying of the wood. As long as it is re-coated every 18 months or so then the the natural finish of the wood should continue. The finish used also contains biocides to prevent the build up of moulds and fungii.
