A stunning piece of spalted Apple Wood featuring a number of attractive circular holes of differing sizes. These have the effect of circular windows, drawinging the gaze as to what sighst and colours and behind the sculpture and which can appear to visually ‘ooze’ through it.

This one-off piece of outdoor sculpture is weatherproof and features stainless steel legs to sink it into the ground.

Width is 30cm, Height of wooden board is 98cm, and when installed in the ground, total height around 120cm incl legs.

The sculpture has been treated with 2 coats of a special weather resistant finish which includes significant UV filters to prevent / slow down greying of the wood. As long as it is re-coated every 18montha or so then the the natural finish of the wood should continue. The finish used also contains biocides to prevent the build up of moulds and fungii.
