A stunning piece of seasoned Oak board, blackened by the Japanese Shou Sugi Ban technique and finished with external quality wood oil.
The Oak board features a number of circular holes of differing sizes - each one fitted with a flourescent perspex disc. These discs are mounted on swivel fittings which allow each one to be adjusted by 180 degrees.
The 5mm thick flourescent discs are supplied either as a lime green with edges that glow brightly in any light OR as a multi colour version with several colours of 5mm flourescent perspex - all can be adjusted to give different visual effects by altering the angle of the disc.
This piece of outdoor sculpture is weatherproof and features stainless steel legs to sink it into the ground.
SIZE - Overall height 140cm and width 30cm. Height of the Oak board alone is 130cm.
We can create a similar piece for you in your choice of size and wood. You could also choose other flourescent perspex colours from Red, Orange and Yellow, although Green and Red are the strongest
We can fit an alternative Oak base into which the board will sit to enable display indoors or on a patio. This option will cost an additional £35.
